Choreographer

As a choreographer, in my creative process of developing a concept and generating movement, visualization plays an integral role. Visualizing allows me to see where/what movement and pathways feel natural, and also allows me to picture where dancers are moving in space. When it comes to my choreographic voice and aesthetic, I am drawn to and want my work to have clean lines, clarity in the execution of the movement, and a heavy emphasis on the details/intricacies of the choreography. The goal of my choreographic works is to have audiences walk away in awe of the talent onstage and also a clear picture of what happens during my work from the beginning, middle, and end — even if they don’t fully understand the concept or message I am trying to relay.
